On 17th October 2015 from 4pm to 11pm we will hold our very first Angus Brewfest

Picture the scene friends, families, music in the air, hay bales, local drinks, fun and laughter all under one roof in fact the perfect event to wet your whistles and fill your bellies!

In our indoor venue at the Strathmore Hall, Forfar we are raising the bar (no pun intended) and we will have areas allocated to local beers, local ales, local spirits, cocktails and ciders. There will also be a fantastic variety of food available using you guessed it local food producers. Delicious tapas style treats will be readily on hand to give you a relaxed eating and drinking experience.

To add to the atmosphere we will have Clappy Doo a popular ceilidh band playing an excellent variety of music to suit all tastes from thigh slapping traditional music to chart covers and current tunes.

There will be a seating area with straw bales to sit on adding to the rustic feel and the brewers will have their traditional barrels for you to rest your tumbler. We will have a games corner so you can try your hand at old pub style games like skittles so get practising!!

Tickets will be on sale soon online via or you can pick them up at the Angus Farmers Markets at Montrose 1st Saturday of the month and Forfar on the 2nd Saturday. Tickets are £5 each you must be 18 years or over.

See you there cheers or should we say slainte!
